Microsoft promises to offer 'Universal' Office App For Phones Running Windows 10 this Month

Today Microsoft promised to release a set of Office applications called “Universal” by the end of April for smartphones running Windows 10.
The company has a two-prong productivity strategy in place for Windows:

1. Office 2016 for desktop use, 
2. For all other Windows 10 experiences.

Windows 10 experiences is a touch-focused Office Universal apps. The latter apps, according to Microsoft, will function across tablets and smartphones, dynamically changing their design to allow users to better use them based on their current screen size.

The two names for the two groups of apps are Office Desktop and Office Universal might seem a bit odd, given that the Universal apps aren’t quite designed to be. The universal tag is instead more useful in the mobile context. These are the apps you will use across Windows devices whenever you’re not at your desk typing away happily on a full-sized keyboard.

Google Brings 'Trusted Voice' Smart Lock option for android users

One of the more convenient security features added in Android 5.0 Lollipop is "smart lock." Google started rolling out a 'Trusted voice' feature in the Smart Lock menu for Android Lollipop, while it has also added a new Nicknames feature to search for contacts.

According to Android Police :

on Monday, the feature has been silently rolled out to multiple users. Just like the previously Smart Lock features - Trusted face, Trusted devices, and Trusted places - the menu now sports the Trusted voice option to unlock the device.

It is unknown that which version of the Google Play services has got the feature, but  7.0.99 on Lollipop-based Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 smartphones have not received the feature as yet.

With the updated Google app, users will now be able to use Google Now to create nicknames for Contacts on their device. Users can go to Google settings, tap on Search & Now to see if the 'Nicknames' has been added for them under Accounts & Privacy sub-menu.

How Secure is this device :

The popup when you enable "Trusted Voice" warns that the feature is not as secure as a traditional lock screen and that "Someone with a similar voice or a recording of your voice  saying “Ok Google” could unlock your device."

Apple and Microsoft announce merger

Microsoft and Apple, have announced that they are planning to merge later this year. Their first project is to move all employees to a new space-based orb in order to offer services "from the space" rather than "from the cloud" like other common firms with less money.

One of the first new services to be offered will be 'Office Death Ray 365' to annihilate your competition no matter what day of the year (except leap years.)

It appears the two companies have been planning the merger since at least April 2006 when Steve Jobs announced Apple’s new “Spaceship” campus designed to take employees to the new space orb and return to the ground on annual visits where a Hunger Games-style deathmatch will be held in the centre to be the first consumer to obtain each new device.

Significant money exchanged hands in order to appease shareholders into agreeing to this move. Microsoft paid Apple $40 billion, whilst Apple paid Microsoft $40 billion. Analysts believe this significant investment will lead to even better products for customers in the future... 

As part of the deal, Microsoft's hardware will now be able to sport the 'i' before their names which will add tremendous value as we've seen with Apple's devices. Initial products will include; iSurface, iLumia, and the iBox.

The iBox, in particular, is set to benefit most from the partnership. Combined with DirectX 13, MicroApple will be able to stream 8K games around the Milky Way, through Mars, and even over the Snickers wrapper from your powerful iPC to your iBox sitting a couple of meters away.

Sources inside the company tell us that Apple execs finally admitted to the Surface being a far-more versatile device than the new MacBook which doesn't even have a USB port without an adapter! The iSurface Pro 4 will, however, abandon Windows in favour of a new OS already in-creation from Apple... 

The name of the OS distances itself from stunning landscapes and big cats in favour of household objects. MicrOS X v10.11 'Mug' edition features a help button which when pressed will order Starbucks to your location. Other features include; moustache-trimmer support, "pretend you’re a birdy" map mode, access to everyone's emails, and secretive brainwashing. 

All current Lumia devices will morph into a fluorescent yellow “iLumianati” triangle with a single speaker through which if you listen close you can hear Siri and Cortana having a heated argument about who tells the best joke. Truly, it's the next step-forward for artificial intelligence.

Report : Facebook Testing WhatsApp Integration in Android App

As we all know  WhatsApp, which last said it had 700 million monthly active users, was acquired by Facebook for over $20 billion in February last year.

After 1 year Facebook, the most popular social networking site has reportedly begun testing a new feature in its Facebook for Android app that includes the first major integration of WhatsApp.

Facebook  is said to have added a 'Send' button with the familiar WhatsApp icon as a part of the status actions buttons that appear under each status update.

The new button appears on the right side (for left-to-right languages) for some users in the most recent version of the Facebook for Android app.
